#WOW Women in Business!
What is WOW, I hear you ask? Jacqueline Gold, the CEO of Ann Summers and Knickerbox, runs the Women on Wednesday (#WOW) campaign in order to celebrate the successes of entrepreneurial women. Each week she looks for businesses that are interesting and have strong brand values, choosing three from over 200 entries as her winners. The winners submissions are retweeted, helping promote and encourage their work. Furthermore, winners receive one of her WOW badges to display on their website and social media.
We are over the moon, chuffed to bits, to be selected as one of this week's winners!!! Hurrah!
This network of women is incredibly supportive, and I have been overwhelmed by the number of people who have now chosen to follow us, and the many lovely comments and retweets received!
Our fellow winners this week were Sal's Shoes and Boozie Body Care, and it's well worth popping over to check out their sites.
Sal's Shoes is a not for profit organisation who collect good quality shoes that children have grown out of and makes sure that they get to kids that need them. They could stay here in the UK or end up in Africa!
Boozie Body Care make cocktail inspired body care products which are bright and colourful, and sound delish! Peach and Passion Fruit Bellini anyone?! All of their products are paraben free and manufactured in the UK.
Thank you Jacqueline for supporting female entrepreneurs, and choosing Humble & Maker as a winner. I'm excited to be one of the gang :)
Until next time, Happy Making!
